The puppies are a full 3 weeks old now!
They are all weighing around 3 pounds.
They had a
field day out of the whelp box and got to explore!!! They
had an old blanket to play on (even though they kept wanting to
wander off of it)! They are starting to interact with each
other now and develop their own adorable personalities!!
More to come.....
July 28-29, 2010 - Week 3 begins, and LOTS of changes for the
puppies! Eyes are beginning to open. An odd time for
us humans. Eyes are partially open, but not fully open -
so they can look a little alien, or winky!! Walking is
becoming a common occurrence now - as well as falling down.
But, getting more sure footed!
Field trip in the family
room! All three generations got involved! Jackie has
become obsessed as "the" pseudo mom. If she could lactate,
she would be in heaven!!! The pictures below show mostly
Jackie on the ground (blue collar) with the babies. She is
being a very good sister - even though she is still a teenie
bopper herself!
Maddy is a fantastic mommy! She is
taking very good care of their every need! Thank you to
Auntie Stephanie (has Jackie's sister Sadie) for baby sitting in
the mornings this week!!!
